During my senior year at Walla Walla University, I began experimenting with silver smithing and became enamored with metal smithing and designing wearable art. After graduating in 2016 with a major in fine art, I fell in love with the idea of being a full-time jewelry designer and chose to enroll in an 18-month jewelry design program at Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles.

Since graduating in 2018 I have been pursuing my dream of being a full-time jewelry designer, working part time for a local jewelry designer doing production, and spending my remaining time completing orders for my customers. I use sustainable materials for all Silver and Quill products, including recycled gold, and make each item by hand in my home studio.
